u've got to thank Him

There are so many reasons u have to thank God.
while thinking about those who has made it and u are yet to make it,also think about those that are dead, whilst you still live.
Those that are sick while you er healthy, those that haven't eaten for days, when you have just skipped one meal. I just wanna take us through some reasons we really need to thank God for, if you've really not gotten any.
FEW REASONS OUT OF MANY WHY WE SHOULD THANK GOD.

5. Great benefits and blessings come to those who consistently thank God.
Psalms 92:1 (NLT) It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. 6. God answers our prayers and saves us.
Psalms 118:21 (NLT) I thank You for answering my prayer and saving me!.
7. God's Word is good-all His laws are just and good.
Psalms 119:62 (Living) At midnight I will rise to give my thanks to You for Your good laws. 8. God forgives and comforts us.
Isaiah 12:1 (CEV) At that time you will say, "I thank you Lord! You were angry with me, but you stopped being angry and gave me comfort."
9. God does miracles for us.
Isaiah 25:1 (GW) O Lord, You are my God. I will highly honor You; I will praise Your name. You have done miraculous things. You have been completely reliable in carrying out Your plans from long ago.
10. God delivers us from evil.
Jeremiah 20:13 (NLT) Now I will sing out my thanks to the Lord! Praise the Lord! For though I was poor and needy, He delivered me from my oppressors.
11. In Christ, God has delivered us from the power of sin.
Romans 6:17 (NLT) Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you have obeyed with all your heart the new teaching God has given you.
12. God is generous with His gifts to us.
I Corinthians 1:4 (NLT) I can never stop thanking God for all the generous gifts He has given you, now that you belong to Christ Jesus.
13. God is our source of mercy and help.
II Corinthians 1:3 (TEV) Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father, the God from whom all help comes!

DON'T STOP AT THE BUS STOP Vol 1.

But shop is a place where buses and different types of vehicles stop people or pick people or where people wait for others.
Your bus stop is not your destination, many great men and women have stopped at the bus stop thinking that their journey have ended, bus stop is bus stop, keep moving until you get to your destination,no matter how beautiful the bus stop may be,no matter how attractive the bus stop may be,don't mind the decorations so far,or the people you always meet there whenever you get there, don't stop there because it is not the end of your journey.
Stopping at the bus stop may cause damages in your life, stopping at the bus stop may cause one to cry had I know later, stopping at the bus stop may cause delay in one's life. Many people have wasted their time at the bus stop.
What I mean by this topic when one thinks that where he or she is their limit. Some think that the level they are is ok,some thinks that they can not make it in life, some thinks that all hope is lost,,some are passing through trials and persecution thinking that all hope is lost, some thinks that because they had problem yesterday, they will not make it tomorrow.
You can rise again as a youth,no matter where you had failed,no matter what has happened to you in the past or how everybody forsaked you, trust in yourself and trust in GOD because you still have a long way to go.
Wait for Vol 2 of this message.

ARTICLE: YOU MAY HAVE NOMOPHOBIA – Find out, if you have the condition, that means technology is taking over your life.

You may be asking, “What in the world is called nomophobia?”.
I did too. But when I found out what it was, I realised we all may have it. We do know a ‘phobia’ is a fear of something which can cause anxiety and stress.
Usually, the amount of stress or anxiety doesn’t correspond to the level of danger that actually exists – and so it is ultimately irrational.
But Nomo … what is nomo? Nomo is an abbreviation for “no mobile phone”. vThe term was created after a study four years ago found that 53% of mobile phone users in Britain tended to be anxious when they “lost their mobile phone, ran out of battery or no longer had network coverage.”
So nomophobia is the fear of being out of contact with your mobile phone! Stop now and think … what if you lost your phone? Did that just cause you panic?
How you know you’ve got nomophobia
Do you:
*have an inability to turn off your phone?
*take your phone to the bathroom (full disclosure – I do)?
*obsessively check emails, texts, facebook, twitter, etc.?
Technological advances are certainly great but with studies showing that we check our phones on average 34 times a day, maybe we have gone a bit too far.
Just Google nomophobia and see all the news. A recent article in New York Daily News describes the issue, interviews a subject, and shows a nomophobia assessment.
What is most shocking however is a statement made by one of the people who has this fear:
“I feel like the virtual world is more real. That’s the world I want to engage in. I can’t even imagine only checking my phone once an hour. I just feel like that’s my whole universe.”
Check your technology use
Have you become obsessive about checking your phone?
Do you sometimes feel that the virtual universe is more real than the actual universe? If that sounds like you, here’s a few suggestions:
*Check yourself and limit your own time on the phone.
*Question what is having the greater influence on your life: technology or Jesus?
*If you are becoming isolated, withdrawn and depress, you may need to seek professional medical help.<
br/> It may seem silly, but we have to honestly ask these questions regularly and check the influence our technology has over our lives.
One day, you may look back on your youth and wish you had spent more time with God, family and friends. You will never look back and wish you spent more time on your phone.

Sustained In

The Silence Hudson Taylor (1832–1905) was the ounder of the China Inland Mission and a great servant of God
But after the ferocious Boxer Rebellion of 1900, in which hundreds of his fellow missionaries were killed, Taylor was emotionally devastated and his health began to fail.
Nearing the end of life’s journey, he wrote, “I am so weak that I cannot work. I cannot read my Bible; I cannot even pray.
I can only lie still in God’s arms like a child and trust.”
Have you been passing through a time when you are tired of body and sick of heart? Do you find it difficult to focus your mind on biblical promises? Has it become hard for you to pray? Don’t write yourself off as a spiritual castaway.
You are joining a host of God’s people who have experienced the dark night of the soul
When we endure such times, all we can do—indeed, all we need do—is lie still like a child in the arms of our heavenly Father.
Words aren’t necessary. A comforting father doesn’t expect his child to make speeches. Neither does God. He knows we need His soothing care. In times of trouble, His mercy holds us up (PSALM 94:18).
We may trust Him to carry us through that dark night of the soul and on into the dawning light.Help us Lord.....IN JESUS NAME (Amen)

The Struggle

Have you ever heard someone suggest that if you just trust Jesus, He’ll solve all your problems and you’ll float through life with riches and peace?

If that were the way God planned it for the people who serve Him, then what was Paul’s problem? After his conversion, he was as godly as they come, yet he had problems galore.
He was one of the greatest missionaries of all time—and what did he get for his trouble? Beaten up. Arrested. Nearly drowned.
Run out of town. Look at Joseph, Abraham, Job, Jeremiah, Peter—godly men one and all. Yet they all faced dangers and trouble none of us would ever desire.
So, why the struggle? Why is it that tragedy strikes Christians with the same blunt force that it strikes the most antagonistic atheists?
Why are we not exempt from natural disasters, serious illness, interpersonal squabbles, and mistreatment by others?
Somehow, in God’s way of making things work out, our troubles can advance His kingdom and purposes (ROMANS 8:28; PHILIPPIANS 1:12).
Our task is to glorify God, no matter what the circumstances.
If we do, our struggle can direct others to the Savior as we make our way toward our ultimate goal of rest and reward in heaven....IN JESUS NAME (Amen)
